With over 20 years of experience across the public and private sectors, international organizations, and civil society, María Gabriela Quintanilla is an exceptional leader recognized for her ability to build and lead multidisciplinary teams. Her expertise in delegation, role definition, and responsibility assignment has been fundamental in establishing robust and efficient operational structures.
María Gabriela is widely respected for her deep technical knowledge in operations, spanning administration, procurement, finance, accounting, human resources, and IT. She has successfully managed projects with budgets exceeding $500 million and has developed operational manuals and guidelines that have streamlined program implementation and ensured efficiency.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios (ESEN) in El Salvador, a Master’s in Financial Administration from SOAS, University of London, and has completed additional studies and certifications in development management from Sheppard Moscow and The Open University in London.
Known for her conflict resolution skills, receptive leadership style, and unwavering commitment to achieving objectives, María Gabriela plays a pivotal role at VQ Consulting Group. Her ability to navigate complex challenges makes her an indispensable asset to the firm.
A seasoned economist with over two decades of experience, Jimmy Vásquez is renowned for his ability to connect diverse disciplines and solve complex challenges. His sharp analytical skills and talent for simplifying intricate information have established him as a leading expert in social and economic issues.
Jimmy specializes in designing holistic, sustainable solutions that promote the well-being of individuals and communities. He integrates an intergenerational approach into his work, ensuring that future generations' needs are protected while securing long-term, impactful results.
Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with international organizations, civil society, and the private sector, leading teams in 22 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios (ESEN) in El Salvador and a Master’s in Sustainable Development from Imperial College London. Jimmy’s expansive network and ability to connect with diverse sectors and personalities make him an empathetic and highly committed leader. His proactive mindset, strategic listening skills, and capacity to integrate ideas are essential to the success of VQ Consulting Group’s projects.
